Kauhale Makai means Village By The Sea

RENT DIRECT FROM THE OWNERS AND SAVE!!! There's nothing more relaxing than sitting on the lanai watching the palm trees wave in the breeze and enjoying the fabulous ocean view… October through April you can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching whales breech, mate, and escort their new calves around the bay from the lanai.
Located on the second floor, #206, - the Kauhale Makai Resort includes a Sparkling Tile Pool, Hot Tub, & Kiddies Pool, these pools also have beautiful murals of whales and turtles. Putting green, shuffleboard, and volleyball court, as well as barbeque facilities are also on the grounds. Our guests are welcome to use the two public tennis courts located south of the resort. Laundry facilities are on nearly every floor of the resort of both buildings.

Amenities:
This condo was recently renovated with granite kitchen counters, new appliances, and everything one would need for a “home away from home”. The bedroom has a Pillow Top King-size bed by Custom Comfort Mattress Company, and the living room sofa opens up into a queen- sized sleeper. In addition, should you “tire” of the ocean views, there are two TV’s with DVD players, as well as a full stereo system for your entertainment. The entire condo has been furnished and decorated with island furniture and art, and there is, CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING! From the moment you walk through the door you will know you are in “Paradise”. Sorry, but no pets are allowed (resort rules). This is a Non-Smoking Condo.

South Maui

Without a doubt the best kept secret on Maui is the Kamaoli State Beaches. Kamaoli I, II, and III are all well maintained and patrolled well suited to picnics and family outings. Each beach is known for its special attractions. For snorkeling and beginner surfing, Kamaoli III is the best beach in Kihei. The surfers congregate on the left (south end) of the beach while snorkeler’s enjoy the many varieties of tame fishes in and around the shallow rocks forming a finger on the right (north end) of the beach. One word of caution though, these beaches are prone to gusting winds in the afternoons, therefore it is best to visit these beaches before 1:00 PM.

Molokini is an ancient volcanic cone rising out of deep water in the channel between Maui and Kaho’olawe Island. The center of the crater is a prime snorkeling destination; divers can enjoy a variety of locations along the edges of the cone. Visibility is almost always excellent. In addition to the swarms of tame fishes, White tip Reef Sharks, Dragon Morays, and Black Coral are main attractions. Access is only by boat. It has been my experience Scuba Shack, and Maui Dive Shop; located on lower Kihei Road  are the most reliable charters to this dive site and many others. The trip to the island usually takes only 15 minutes so they are usually the first charter boats at Molokini.
